The National Border Collie Council is the official Australian Breed Council affiliated with Dogs Australia and exists to promote, maintain, protect and cherish the purebred Border Collie in Australia.

Border Collie Health

The National Border Collie Council Health Sub-Committee develops policy on health of the breed, including the prevention of ill-health and the reduction of health problems, especially preventable genetic diseases.

Affiliated Member Clubs
National Breed Councils must comprise of at least two specialised breed clubs, each affiliated with a separate Member Body of Dogs Australia.

There are currently six breed clubs across Australia represented in the NBCC.
